Subtask

Subtask

What is a Subtask?

A subtask is a smaller, manageable task that is part of a larger primary task. Subtasks help break down complex tasks into actionable steps, making it easier to track progress, assign responsibility, and meet deadlines. Each subtask can include details like a title, descriptions, time logs, to-do lists, documents, and subtask history.

How to Use:

Add Subtask in a Task

  1. Open a task and click on + Add New Subtask in the Subtask section.

  2. Enter the subtask title, description, assign users, and set a due date.

  3. Enable the scheduling toggle if you want to create the next subtask upon completion of the previous one.

  4. Click Save, and your subtask will be created instantly or scheduled, depending on your settings.

Add Subtask in Services

  1. Go to Services, open the relevant service, and navigate to the Subtask tab.

  2. Enter the subtask title, description, assign users, and set a due date.

  3. Enter the number of days after the task is created that you want the due date to be.

  4. Enable the workflow option if you'd like the subtask to be created automatically when previous one is completed.
